Gabriel will be united in heaven with his parents Guadalupe and Conrado Cerda; and sister Ermalinda De La Cruz.

Gabriel’s memory will forever live in the hearts of his loved one's; Wife Teresa Cerda; Children Gabriel Cerda Jr.(Connie), Conrad Cerda(Kristy), Josie Lopez (Husband Adam), Ricky Cerda (Marcelina); Brothers Joe Serda, Frank Serda, Conrado Cerda; sisters Esperanza Rodriguez, Maria Benavidez, Estela Cerda; 10 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Gabriel had a passion for football and baseball; he loved the Texas Longhorns as well as the New York Yankees.

Gabriel will be missed by those who knew him.

A rosary will occur Monday, May 20, 2024 from 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM, 2525 Palo Alto Rd, San Antonio, TX 78211. A funeral mass will occur Tuesday, May 21, 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at St Rose of Lima Catholic Church, 9883 Marbach Rd, San Antonio, TX 78245. A graveside service will occur Tuesday, May 21, 2024 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at First Memorial Park Cemetery, 20567 TX-16, Von Ormy, TX 78073.
