Fernando Luis Moran

Fernando Moran went to be with the lord on February 16, 2015 at the age of 67. He was born in Laredo, Texas on January 24, 1948 to Alicia and Oscar Moran. He was a U.S. Army Veteran and served during the Vietnam Campaign. He will be truly missed.

He is preceded in death by his father: Oscar Moran, and grandparents. He is survived by his loving mother: Alicia Moran, wife: Amelia of 25 years; 1 son: Eric; 4 step-children: Diane (Joe), Gloria (Robert), Roland (Sally), and Jennifer; 4 sisters: Yvette (Emilio)Moran, Elizabeth (Edward) Degen, Elsa (Daniel) Moran Valverde, and Yolanda Gutierrez, 1 brother: Oscar(Margaret) Moran Jr., numerous nieces and nephews; 3 great- nieces, 3 great- nephews, 14 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren, many relatives, and friends.

A visitation will be held on Thursday, February 26, 2015 at Trevino Funeral Home, 226 Cupples Road, from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM with a rosary to be recited at 7:00PM that same evening. A Funeral Procession will depart the funeral home on Friday, February 27, 2015 at 8:15 A.M. For a 9:00 A.M. Mass to be celebrated at St. Stephen’s Catholic Church. Interment to follow at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery.
