Eulalio C. Escobedo

Eulalio retired as a TSGT after serving 23 years in U.S. Air Force. During his time with the military, he was stationed in Japan, Turkey, Montana, Vietnam and several military installation in the state of Texas

He is survived by his wife of 65 years, Amada Escobedo; children, Sonia Ivet Martinez, Xavier Noe Escobedo, Marisa Elia Escobedo and Marco Eduardo Escobedo; grandchildren, Jarrett Reece, Desire'e Martinez, Danielle Issa (Dallas), Michael Castro (Jennifer), and Dana LaCourse: great-grandchildren, Ariana Issa, Gino Calhoun, Cashius Castro, Kailani Castro and Kiriana Castro: sisters, Angelica Zermeno (Abelardo) and Irma Ortiz (Emilio).

Eulalio's (Lalo) hobbies were, traveling, photography, coin collecting, watching cowboy movies and watching his favorite team the Dallas Cowboys. He also enjoyed simple things in life such as sitting on the porch, drinking coffee and watching the variety of birds that would land on the trees in the backyard.

Lalo had a great sense of humor and was quick with comedic comebacks. He especially loved puns and play on words. Although the Dallas Cowboys didn't make it to the superbowl this year, he is still probably smiling right now because he is enjoying the perfect weather and we aren't.

Pallbearers are Xavier Escobedo, Michael Castro, Jarrett Reece, Dallas Foster, Anthony Zermeno and David Ortiz.

Visitation will be at Sunset Northwest Funeral Home, 6321 Bandera road, San Antonio, Texas 78238 on Monday, February 13, 2023 from 6:00 P.M. to 9:00 P.M. with a prayer service at 7:00 P.M.

A funeral service will be conducted at 11:30 A.M. Tuesday, February 14, 2023 at Sunset Northwest Funeral Home with interment to follow at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery with Air Force Military Honors.
