Ester Godines, age 81, passed away September 2, 2021 in San Antonio, Texas. She was born on October 1, 1939 in San Antonio, Texas. She is survived by her daughter, Elizabeth Gascot; son, Joe Abel Godines; grandchildren, Krystal J. Gordines-Camarillo and husband Tyler, Erin Nicole Godines, Lauren Elizabeth Godines-Applegate and husband Shane, Brian Alexander Gascot, Christian Anthony Reyes; son-in-law, Francisco Anthony Reyes; great-granddaughters, Luminara Sofia Godines-Camarillo, Penelope Jane Godines-Applegate; sisters, Mary Louise Garcia and husband Jose, Sophie Sanchez Ortiz and husband John Jr., Febe Sanchez Ruiz and husband John; brothers, Albert Sanchez and wife Carmen, Louis O. Sanchez and wife Patricia, Edward Sanchez and wife Irene; daughter-in-law, Ludim Sanchez; brother-in-law Hegenio Mares; numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be on Thursday, September 9, 2021 beginning at 5:00 P.M. with a Prayer Service at 7:00 P.M. at Central Church of God, 210 Calles Street, San Antonio, Texas 78207. A funeral service will be at 10:00 A.M. Friday September 10, 2021 at Central Church of God with interment to follow at San Jose Burial Park Cemetery.
