Estella Valdez Vega

Our beloved mother Estella V. Vega, age 69 went to be with the lord on September 17, 2014. She is survived by her children Sandra and husband Mike Hernandez, Mary and husband Paul Trevino, Mary L. Vega, Louis Jr. and wife Rosemary Vega, Lizz and husband Albert Caballero, Albert and wife Lena Vega, her dog Brucie, 17 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren and numerous extended relatives.

She was a gifted seamstress, florist, baker and wonderful cook that blessed many with her generosity of giving. Her passion was her family, her friends and her grandchildren. She was much loved.

She enjoyed gardening, arts and crafts and attending all her children’s, grandchildren and great grandchildren’s activities. She was preceded by her husband Louis Vega Sr.

Estella’s warmth and caring touched everyone she came in contact with. She will be sorely missed.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, September 21, 2014 12-9pm with a service to be recited at 6:30 pm at Trevino funeral home, 2525 Palo Alto Rd. Precession will depart Monday at 10:30 am for a 11:00 am Funeral Mass at St. Leonards Catholic Church. Interment will follow at First Memorial Burial Park under the direction of the Trevino Funeral home.
