Ernesto Muñoz, Sr. was called home to be with the Lord on January 26, 2014 at the age of 92. He was born in Laredo, Texas. Ernesto is preceded in death by his beloved wife Elida L. Muñoz; son Carlos L. Muñoz, Sr.(Lynn); grandson Robert Muñoz, Jr.(Nancy). He is survived by his children Ernest Muñoz, Jr., Robert Muñoz (Adela), Rachel Jones(Tony Falcon), Henry Muñoz (Dina), Gilbert Muñoz, Eddie Muñoz, Roy Muñoz (Linda), Richard Muñoz(Becky Moreno), Albert Muñoz (Leticia), Danny Muñoz (Sonia Cantu), Rosie Tinajero (Jeff), numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren. A visitation will begin on Monday, February 3, 2014 at 5:00 p.m. at Trevino Funeral Home, 226 Cupples Road. A prayer service will be held Tuesday, February 4, 2014 at 6:30 p.m. in funeral home chapel. A procession will depart the funeral home Wednesday, February 5, 2014 after a 10:00 a.m. Chapel Service with interment to follow at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery.
