Ernest B. Solis

Ernest B. Solis of San Antonio went to be with our Lord and Savior on April 4, 2017, at the age of 67. Ernest was a truck driver for over 40 yrs., loved music and was a self-taught drummer. With his conjunto, Los Federales Del Norte, he played music at the Market Square during Fiesta for many years. He was preceded in death by his parents, Louis and Margarita Solis; brother, Fernando Solis and wife Gloria; sisters, Anita Nerio, Teresa Bravo and husband Luciano; mother in law, Mary G. Guevara; and brother in law, Raul Avitua. He is survived by his wife of 43 years, Mary Nancy G. Solis; son, Ernest G. Solis Jr. and wife Elizabeth; daughter, Mary Leonor S. Martinez and husband Joey; grandsons, Brandon, Cesar, Daniel, Damien, and only granddaughter, Lauryn Ashleigh; sisters, Aurora, Sara, Maria, and Gloria; nephews, Daniel and Tommy; and many other family members and friends who love him. Visitation will be held at Funeraria Del Angel Trevino Funeral Home on Monday, April 10, 2017, from 4:00pm to 9:00pm. Rosary will be recited at 7:00pm. On Tuesday, April 11, 2017, a procession will depart Trevino Funeral Home at 9:30am for a 10:00am Mass of the Resurrection at St. Bonaventure Catholic Church. The Rite of Committal will follow at San Jose Burial Park.
