Enrique "Henry" C. Arevalo

Enrique C. Arevalo, better known as Henry, entered into the loving arms of our Lord on Thursday, July 6, 2023 at the age of 92. He was born to his loving parents Felicitas and Florentino Arevalo in San Antonio, Texas on February 21, 1931.

Henry graduated from Lanier High School in 1949 and spent 30 years working in civil service at Kelly Air Force Base. During his leisure time, he enjoyed playing baseball, bowling, and playing penny slots at his favorite spot, Kickapoo Casino. He loved to dance to polkas, boleros and cumbias. He also loved to shoot pool and was pretty good at it. He also took pride in keeping his yard looking good and cutting/trimming his grass just so...he was very particular. We spent many bbq's, New Year's Eve celebrations, Birthday parties in that backyard. Even practiced driving for our driver's tests. He was always smiling, joking and loving on family and friends.

Henry will be reunited in heaven with his wife Dora, parents; Felicitas and Florentino Arevalo, daughter Florence, Brothers: Conrado, Leopoldo and sister Guadalupe Gracia.

Henry’s memory will forever live on in his children; Henry T. Arevalo (Anita), Lupe T. Villarreal (Robert), Teresa A. Lazarin (Armando), Carlos Arevalo (Cynthia), and Ruben Hernandez (Mary); 11 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren; and numerous extended family.
