Elvira Campos Martinez

Our loving mother and grandmother, Elvira Campos Martinez, born on May 12, 1928 in Hondo, TX was called to be with the Lord on December 17, 2014 at the age of 86. She enjoyed playing Bingo and was active at the Sacred Heart Community Center. She is preceded in death by her husband, Antonio Martinez; parents, Ramon and Rosaura Campos; sister, Trinidad Gomez. She is survived by her children; Henry C. Martinez (Leonor), Alice M. Machado (Jimmy), Margaret Rivera (Robert), Andy Martinez (Terry), Agarita Riley, Yolanda Corales (Arturo Martinez), Janette Martinez and Juan Tony Martinez; 18 grandchildren, numerous great grandchildren, and several great great grandchildren; brother, Jose Campos; sister, Lupe Schroeder and numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. A Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Tuesday, December 23, 2014 at Trevino Funeral Home, 226 Cupples Rd. with a Prayer Service at 7:00 p.m. A Procession will depart from the funeral home on Wednesday, December 24, 2014 at 12:30 p.m. for a 1:00 p.m. Mass of the Resurrection at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 2114 W. Houston St. San Antonio, TX 78207. Interment will follow in Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery.
