Our beloved Mother, Elvira G. Barrientes went to be with the Lord, January 6, 2012 at the age of 90. She is preceded in death by her devoted Husband, Louis M Barrientes; loving Daughter, Louisa B Herrera, and Son in law Arnold Peña.Mrs. Barrientes is survived by her children Yolanda B. Gomez, Pedro G. Barrientes, Eloise B. Pena, Vera G. Barrientes; numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. She enjoyed cooking for the family and dancing with her husband of 52 years. A visitation will begin Tuesday, January 10, 2012, 5:00 p.m. at Trevino Funeral Home, 226 Cupples Rd. A rosary will be recited at the funeral home, Wednesday, January 11, 2012, 7:00 p.m. A funeral procession will depart the funeral home, Thursday, January 12, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. for a 11:00 a.m. Mass to be celebrated at St. Anthony Mary Claret, 6150 Roft Rd., San Antonio, TX 78253 with interment to follow in San Fernando Cemetery #2.
