On July 11, 2016 Elena passed away peacefully surrounded by family to be with her Lord and Savior at the age of 65. Preceded in death by her parents Sotero Martinez and Margarita Duarte Martinez. Helen is survived by her siblings Carlos and Rita Martinez, Carmen Berlanga, Alicia Martinez and Nancy Robbins, Enrique Martinez, Fernando and Sylvia Padilla and Ofie Delgado, numerous nieces and nephews. The family would like to give a special thanks to Dr. Sara Apsley-Ambriz for her loving care. A Celebration of Life will be held at Sunset Northwest Funeral Home, 6321 Bandera Rd. on Wednesday, July 27, 2016 at 5:30 p.m. with a Memorial Service to begin at 6:30 p.m. that same evening.
