Efrain Lopez Gonzales, entered rest on May 20, 2014 at the age of 83. Mr. Gonzales honorably served his country in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. He was employed with the SAISD for 30 years. He was preceded in death by his wife, Antonia and is survived by their children: Andrea G. Terrazas and Raul, Aurora Gonzales, Efrain Ricardo Gonzales and Ana; grandchildren: Jennifer M. Mata, Efrain Ricardo Gonzales Jr., Elias G. Guajardo Jr., and Alexis Rodriguez; several great-grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild; brothers, Rev. Arcadio Gonzales of AZ, and Frank Gonzales of OH; numerous nieces, nephews and friends. The family will receive friends at 5:00 p.m., Sunday, May 25, 2014 at Funeraria Del Angel Roy Akers with a Rosary being recited at 7:00 p.m. A funeral procession will depart the funeral home at 8:30 a.m., Monday, May 26, 2014 to celebrate a 9:00 a.m. Mass at St. Jude’s Catholic Church .
