Edward Thomas Gagstetter, age 84, of Schertz, Texas passed away on Wednesday, November 9, 2022.

He was born in Brooklyn, New York on October 24, 1938 to the late Frank and Agatha Gagstetter.

Edward worked in management for The United States Army, and PerkinElmer Testing laboratories.

He had a passion for the church and was a devout Catholic. Edward touched many lives, and had helped many people along the way. He loved his friends and family dearly.

He is survived by his beloved cousin Dorthey "Dotty" Gartrell; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and longtime friends.

A Memorial Service for Edward will be held Friday, December 16, 2022 at 11:00 AM at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery, 1520 Harry Wurzbach, San Antonio, Texas 78209. Immediately following the service at Fort Sam Houston, the family will host a Wake at their residence in Schertz, TX.
