Donna Jean Crisler

Donna Jean Crisler age 76, loving mother and grandmother passed away peacefully on January 28, 2022 after a courageous battle with lung cancer. Donna was born March 16, 1945 in Artesia California to Eugene and Dorothy Fromm. As part of a proud Naval family Donna was raised all over the United States. After moving to Texas Donna married Lanny Crisler and together raised their family all over west Texas. In 1994 Donna retired from JCPenny’s and moved to Devine Texas. A life-long artist Donna was a gifted painter that loved sharing her gift by teaching her family and friends.

Donna is preceded in death by her parents, brother Bud Fromm, sister Kathleen McElyea, her husband of 45 years Lanny, son Jeff Patterson, grandson Cole Stanley and great grandchildren Jacob Fukasawa and Aurora Wood.

Donna leaves behind a large family that will love and cherish her memory. They include daughters Michelle Dennis of Wichita Falls, Leigh Danielson and husband Rod of Camano Washington, Lana Armstrong of Seattle Washington, Laura Jean Stanley and husband Chad of Midland Texas and Rhianna McKinney and husband Zane of Mason Texas. She was also blessed with 13 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren along with many nieces and nephews.

Graveside services are planned for February 28th at 2:30 pm at Ft. Sam Houston National Cemetery in San Antonio Texas.
