David De La Rosa was a family man and entrepreneur at heart. He established his own business and created his own success with his wife by his side. In his time as a cement truck driver, an opportunity presented itself to begin selling breakfast tacos when other drivers took a liking to his homemade breakfast tacos. He and his wife took the opportunity for the additional income. They began with pre-orders then eventually with over 100 tacos being sold daily at work. He and his wife took a leap of faith, and he quit his day job to enter the world of mobile catering within the construction field. David sold Mona’s homemade tacos, and they found success together. They raised and built a family together. David loved his profession and continued to work until March of 2022. In July 2022, David fell ill, and lived his last days in his daughter’s home surrounded by his grandchildren and great grandchildren. He found joy in the rambunctious lives of his great grandchildren as they ran around him and shared their newfound skills. He shared everlasting wisdom and laughter with his family to the end. David passed peacefully on the morning of August 27, 2022 and joined his loving wife and family that he missed so dearly.
In his lifetime, David enjoyed building friendships with all, and displayed kindness with all who knew him. He had a pure heart and contagious laugh that we will all miss. David loved his family with all of his heart & soul and successfully provided for them in his lifetime. He lead with his values of integrity, determination and generosity in his daily actions.
