He is preceded in death by his wives, Alicia Mendoza and Sheila Catherine Clarke Ramos; brothers, Alfredo Sanchez, Roberto Ramos, Tomas Ramos; sisters, Maria de Concepcion Ramirez, Gloria Aguilar, Elia Rodriguez, Enriquetta Mata and Rosa Sanchez.
Daniel is survived by five children, Beverly Ann, Danny Patrick, Gary Anthony and wife, Mandy; Larry Joseph and wife, Rebecca; Mark Robert and wife, Michelle; five grandchildren, Connor, Abigail, Luke, Harriet and Honor; sisters, Aurora and Beatrice; also, many nieces and nephews.
At the age of nineteen, Daniel served in the Armed Service Branch of the United States Navy during the years of 1952-1956. He held a rank of E-3 while serving our country. He worked in a civil service position (AFFES) while living many years in the United Kingdom and returning to San Antonio,Texas in 2005 until his passing.
As a father, son, brother, uncle and friend he was greatly loved, will be dearly missed and never forgotten. He lives in our memories, rests in our souls and was a precious gift from God in our lives.
The Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 25, 2022 from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at Funeraria Del Angel Trevino Funeral Home, 226 Cupples Road, San Antonio, TX 78237 with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m.
The Funeral Procession will depart from the funeral home on Wednesday, October 26, 2022 at 9:30 a.m. for a 10:00 a.m. Mass of The Resurrection at Our Lady of Good Counsel Catholic Church, 1204 Castroville Rd.,San Antonio, Tx 78237. Interment will follow in Ft. Sam Houston National Cemetery with Military Honors.
The family requests in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be to The St. Jude Children's Hospital
in Daniel's loving memory.
