She is preceded in death by her parents, Carlos and Rosa Barrera.
She leaves behind to cherish her memory, beloved husband, Andrew Adame; siblings, Priscilla Medrano (Carlos) and Chris Barrera; nieces and nephews, Victoria Barrera, Lexi Medrano, Adrian Medrano and Marley Medrano. Cynthia is also survived by her loving aunts, uncles, cousins and many extended relatives and friends.
Cynthia had a heart of gold. She was always one to put others before herself, being in her presence you always felt the positivity. Cindy's smile was the one who lit up the room, she enjoyed being surrounded by her family and making those around her happy. She was proudest to see her nieces and nephews grow and succeed and to be by the side of her forever love, Andrew Adame.
A visitation for Cynthia will be held Sunday, December 3, 2023 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Trevino Funeral Home 2525 Palo Alto Rd, 78211 with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 PM. A funeral procession will depart the funeral home Monday, December 4, 2023 at 10:00 AM for mass to begin at 11:00 AM at St Phillips Benizi Church, 274 Avenue H, Poteet, Texas 78065. Interment will follow at First Memorial Park Cemetery, 20567 TX-16, Von Ormy, Texas 78073.
