Cora Mae Crist

Cora Mae Crist (Taylor), entered into eternal rest on June 17, 2018 at the age of 99. She was born April 14, 1919 in Marietta, Oklahoma but grew up in Edinburg, Texas. She is reunited with her parents – J.H. Taylor and Idora K. Taylor, five brothers - Homer Taylor, Horace Taylor, Beeler Taylor, Tommy Taylor, and James Taylor, her beloved husband of 55 years – Robert Crist, Sr. and her precious son – Robert Crist, Jr. She is forever loved and will be greatly missed by her siblings – Anna Marie (Billie) Reeves and Jodie Taylor (Hazel), her children - Rose Brown (Bruce) and Laura Crist (Daughter-in-law), her grandchildren - Sherri Naegele (Stan), Natalie Snow (Daniel), Edward Dunn (Maria), Cliff Dunn (Jacqueline), Shon Crist, and Brandi Crist (Noah), and her many nieces, nephews, and two-times-great-grandchildren. Cora dedicated her life to serving others to the glory of the Lord. She enjoyed having fun and being surrounded by laughter. She also found pleasure and peace working in her yard.

Memorial Service will be held Saturday, June 23, 2018 from 5:00 PM – 7:00 PM at Sunset Memorial Park & Funeral Home. Graveside service is scheduled for Tuesday, June 26, 2018 at 9:00 AM at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery. You may sign the on-line guest book at www.dignitymemorial.com/obituaries.
