Elva & Gabe I am very sad to hear of Chuck's passing. I first met him in the early 90's when he worked for Ray Hicks representing Blindmaker. He was always such a gentleman and a good friend, always there to assist. I am honored to have known him. I am sorry that I was out of town and only heard of his death today.

Dear Elva and Gabe,
I knew Chuck many years ago from my Graber days - I had the Kansas Missouri territory and we would talk about common challenges.  I had great respect for his knowledge and insight.  He once told me that he thought it "made more sense to aling yourself with a giant than to go up aginst it". I have often used that simple statement in my life when making business decisions.  It truly saddens me to know your loss - by the way, my one and only "favorite son" is named Gabriel -- Chuck and I often had fun with that one. God bless you and help you through this time of greiving.

Elva and Gabe, I am so sorry for your loss.  I lost touch with Chuck after Blind Maker. Can't believe its been 12 years.  Gabe when I met you the first time you were only 9 years old.  We all talk about the Chuck story, I remember one time one of our customers ask him about Graber hardware.  Well 15 minutes later they knew all about the part they asked about.  I never knew him not to be we'll dressed and always a gentleman to all.  It was a pleasure to work with him.  The window covering industry will miss him.  I was in Montana, when I heard the news.  My prayers are with you both.  God bless you.

Gabe & Elva, I am so sorry for your loss, but we know he is in his perfect body now, with no more pain or worries. If either of you need anything, I hope you know you can call on me. It was a very touching service today, and I am so glad you have such a supporting family to help you get through this difficult time.

I will miss Chuck greatly.   He was a kind man, quick to smile, always had something to say that was interesting.  Chuck picked up samples from our veterinary clinic and was well liked by all of us.  I'm glad I got to know him and am sad at his passing.   I express my deepest sympathy to his family,  you lost a great treasure.

I was so shocked to hear of the passing of Chuck.  It has been over a year since I last saw and spoke with him.  My deepest regrets and condolences to you both.

I have known and competed against Chuck in the window covering industry for over 25 years. He was always the most worthy of opponents.  His vast knowledge of his products and company were to say the least intimidating.  No one else could match his expertise and devotion to his job.  I will sincerely miss his competitive spirit and our bantering on who was best.

I regret that I will be out of town during the service.  He will be missed because his professionalism and devotion was always a credit to the industry and to his life.

My thoughts and prayers are with Gabriel and Elva and know that a loss like this is painfull. Chuck was a friend, colleague, mentor and most definitely someone I looked up to as a young man. I too have many "Chuck stories" and I'm sorry that I lost touch with him over the last several years. I spent many a miles next to Chuck in the traveling salesmen's car and learned alot from him. You will be missed but only until I see again my old friend. May you be on Angel's Wings.

I am so sorry to hear that Charles Lee, my cousin, passed. He came to Durant,OK to visit his Aunt Ednith,(my mother) a few times in her last years. She was always so delighted to see him. He and I got to visit during those times also. I will cherish those times.Charles was a wonderful person with a great personality. My prayers and thoughts are with you,,,,,,,,, Love to all.

Rest in Peace dad.  You were a great father and friend for my 31 years, and I never thought Id be doing this at such a young age, but your health wasnt the best these last few years, yet you took it in stride and did the best you could to take care of it.  Mom and I find peace knowing your struggles and suffering are over and you are now with our heavenly father where we will one day see you again when our number is called. Chuck was a great friend and loyal employee for many years.  I have many fond memories of the time I spent with Chuck.  I have a few Chuck stories.  I regret losing my relationship with Chuck and Elva when my business collapsed.  I didn't even know he was sick.  I do know that Chuck leaves behind many valued relationships across South Texas.  He was a close friend and valued consultant to all that were fortunate to know or work with him.  He was extremely well known and highly respected in the window covering industry. 

I will always hold precious the time we spent together and the memories he has given me. My life has been blessed by knowing Chuck.

My deepest sympathy to Elva and Gabe.
