Carolyn E. Mullins

Carolyn Elaine Mullins passed away on March 18, 2013. She was born on July 6, 1928 in Plaquemine, Louisiana. Carolyn received her education in Louisiana, Georgia, and Texas. She earned a Bachelor’s degree at the University of Houston and her Master’s degree at Incarnate Word University. She married Dr. Cecil J. Mullins on October 11. Together they had four children: Toni Chilton, married to Russell Chilton with granddaughters Claire and Merritt; Terri Meshew, married to Michael Meshew with grandchildren Catherine and Ben; Michael Mullins, married to Terri Mullins with granddaughter Lauren; and Stephen Mullins, married to Lynn Mullins with grandson Ian. Carolyn belonged to Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church and was very fond of traveling. She was preceded in death by her husband and will be loved and profoundly missed by all her family and friends. The Rosary will be recited on Thursday, March 21, 2013 at 6:30 P.M. at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church, 600 Oblate Dr. The funeral Mass will be held on Friday, March 22, 2013 at 11:30 A.M. at the church with the Rev. Msgr. Jack O’Donoghue and the Rev. Msgr. Patrick Ragsdale con-celebrants. The interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Park.
