Carol was born in San Antonio, Texas to George W. Draker and Elizabeth Steubing Draker on July 1, 1952. She went to school in San Antonio. She married Don E. Thompson on March 26, 1998 in Pipe Creek, Texas. Carol worked for Missouri Pacific Railroad for 10 years.
Her signature beautiful beaming smile would always light up a room. As a 5th generation Texan, Carol was fiercely loyal to Texas.
Carol is preceded in death by her parents.
She is survived by her Husband, Don E. Thompson; many cousins, nieces and nephews.
A visitation will be held on Monday, November 20, 2023 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at Sunset Northwest Funeral Home, 6321 Bandera Road, San Antonio, TX 78238. Funeral Services will be on Monday, November 20, 2023 at 10:00 AM at Sunset Northwest Funeral Home Chapel. Committal Services will follow at 11:45 AM at Zion Lutheran Cemetery, 9944 Leslie, San Antonio, TX 78254.
