Carol Rose Gibson, born October 6, 1934, passed away on December 4, 2017 at the age of 83. Carol is preceded in death by her husband, Earl A. Gibson; parents, Velma and Walter Morrow, and her granddaughter, Victoria Inez Duke. She is survived by her children, Joy Gibson (John C. Tyner), Earl Scott Gibson, Edna Kay Duke; grandchildren, Cynthia Rose Duke, Kevin Nathaniel Duke and Thomas Earl Duke, as well as numerous surviving cousins. Carol graduated from Thomas Jefferson High School in 1952, and married Earl Gibson in 1954. She spent many years working for Morrows Pharmacy, Park Laboratories, and Northeast ISD school district. She will be missed dearly. Visitation will be held at Sunset Funeral Home at 9:00 am on Tuesday, December 19, 2017, with funeral services beginning at 9:30 am. Interment will follow at Ft. Sam Houston National Cemetery.
