Carlos S. Hernandez

Carlos served his country with pride; he served under the 1st Infantry Division during the Vietnam war.

Carlos worked under KENS TV for many years as a cameraman as well as a light director. Following that he would work at the Comal County Independent School District where he would make strong bonds with the teachers as well as the students.

Carlos will be united in heaven with his parents Santos H. Hernandez' and Cipriana S. Hernandez; brothers Joe Hernandez; Roberto Hernandez; sisters Paula Hernandez, Lupe Arrevalo, Mary Ann Gutierrez, Janie Garcia, and Yolanda Camarrillo.

Carlos’s memory will forever live in the hearts of his sisters Lisa Lopez (Husband Carlos Lopez), Linda Villanueva (Husband San Juan), Teresa Hernandez; and baby sister Jo Ann Hernandez; brother Santos S. Hernandez; Godson Rolando Santos Duran; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Carlos will be missed by those who knew him.

A visitation for Carlos will be held Monday, June 24, 2024 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Funeraria Del Angel Roy Akers, 515 North Main Ave, San Antonio, TX 78205. A rosary will occur Monday, June 24, 2024 from 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM, 515 North Main Ave, San Antonio, TX 78205. A funeral mass will occur Tuesday, June 25, 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at St Ann's Catholic Church, 210 St Ann St, San Antonio, TX 78201. A graveside service will occur Tuesday, June 25, 2024 from 11:30 AM to 11:50 AM at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery, 1520 Harry Wurzbach Rd, San Antonio, TX 78209.
