I have been searching for Brian for several years. This isn't the way I expected to find him. We were church buddies as kids at Thunderbird Hills. One of my fondest memories of him was when we were in a play together and I played a soldier and he played, of course, the king.

I hadn't seen Brian in probably 35 years. In fact, the last time I ran into him was at the first of the two Judson/Holmes games back in the 80's. (His Huskies got us that year, but we got them the next.)

Brian was a good kid and I'm sure he grew into a good man. I'm sorry that I wasn't able to reconnect with him, but I know I'll see him again.

To Mr and Mrs King and Karen, my deepest condolences.

Wow, I had no idea Brian King passed away. With everything happening in the world, a glimpse of light sometimes shines through. My brother Rex and I had known Brian since 1984. We would frequently visit his parents house on Linus street. Their would be a plethora of current and future Holmes High School Star athletes that would play basketball in front of his house. It was a who’s,  who  of talent that enjoyed the three on three pickup games. Besides that we were church members together and would attend the race track on Saturdays. Yep, lol, not too many brothas at the racetrack. However, Brian explained the sport to me and my brother Rex. I will always be indebted to him for that and till this day I always associate NASCAR and LSU football with Brian King. My heart and prayers go out to his family. His parents were always welcoming and loving towards my brother and I. To his sister Karen, who I attended elementary, middle and high school with. You were always nice and caring  to me, I’m so sorry you lost your brother! I have so many memories of Brian. From camping trips to Thousand trails on the Fourth of July, trips to Medina Lake in his yellow Camaro. Hell, as a young black kid he introduced me  to Rock, country and the EAGLES! Great times, just military brats enjoying the pleasures of our youth. Thank you for giving me a job cutting yards when I returned from Kansas in the summer of my Freshman year, college kid needed some money. I’ll miss you and I love you Brian!

So sorry to hear of brians' passing. Eddie,Lois,Karen, and family----may the Lord give you comfort during this hard time.

Brian and I met years ago through friends. We would have dinner. Go wash his car. Take trips to the pet shop to buy a mouse or two for Axel. He taught me all I know about NASCAR. He would call me when he was out working to rub it in that he has just seen Joe Gibbs. Sadly we lost contact after I had my son, but I would think of him often. He was truly a great guy and will be deeply missed. My deepest condolences to you his family.

You will be greatly missed Brian. I will always cherish the fond memories we shared growing up in church, the sleepovers at your parents' house, and trips to Medina Lake when you would navigate those curved roads like a professional. For the rest of my life Beatles' songs have new meaning now. Thanks for your friendship, rest in peace brother. You may be gone but never forgotten.

As neighbors we knew Brian as an active 5 year old who played with our son and daughters throughout their childhood  He was always a special little boy and welcome in our home.  Our prayers are with Brian's family as they go through this sad time of loss. We pray Jesus will send His comfort and peace.

I grew up with him... I can never forget going to the go cart races and lllways getting kicked out first lap...lol...    I've got about a thousand more memories of him and me... but I'm just at a loss for words now

Brian and I grew up together and played after school and on the weekends. We would ride our bikes, explore what we called the "pre-historic woods", and go to his home to play pac-man on the Atari 2600. His family was always so kind, as was he. He will be missed, but I look forward to seeing him again.
