Bertha G. Gonzales, age 91, of San Antonio, passed away January 13th, 2021. She was born in San Antonio on August 24th, 1929 to David and Adelaida Coy Guerra. She was married to Joe D. Ramon for 16 years before she became widowed. She then married Charles Gonzales, who she later parted ways with. Bertha worked as an assistant and receptionist for the Law Office of David P. Carter. She enjoyed playing volleyball, her bunco groups, Rummy Q, Scrabble, trips to Kickapoo Lucky Eagle, sharing endless jokes, and enjoying her love of music till her final days. She was passionate about being a mother.
She is survived by her daughters Yolanda Calderon, husband Benny, as well as Denise Tristan and Carla Gonzales, and her sons Rene Ramon and Carlos Gonzales and wife Laura. She was a proud grandmother of approximately 48 grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Services for Bertha have been postponed until further notice due to current weather conditions.
