Aye Yu Liu aka Aiko Liu, age 89, from Santa Barbara, CA passed away Monday, April 18, 2022. She is survived by her children Judy, Looly and John, grandchildren Vivian, Sarah, Kelsie, Kasie and Evan, brother Youwen and sister Hsin. Preceding her in death was her husband Chia Chen Liu aka Charles.
Aiko was born in Japan and met her husband in Taiwan where they married and started a family. They shared 50 years together before his passing. She enjoyed cooking, dancing, playing golf and spending time with family. She was a Japanese language tutor and was devoted to church and helping the community.
Aiko loved her church and family, and we take comfort in knowing that Aiko is now at peace surrounded by light.
Service was held privately for the family on Thursday April 21st at Porter Loring Mortuary West, San Antonio. Her final resting place will be in Santa Barbara, CA with her husband.
