Arcelia L. Aguero

Arcelia L. Aguero of San Antonio, Texas passed away on August 14, 2016. She was born on November 16, 1926 in Corpus Christi, Texas to Juan Bautista Lopez and Rebecca Garcia. Arcelia was a wonderful mother and homemaker. She had a great love for singing and was known to everyone by her signature of playing the air trumpet. Arcelia is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Juan Aguero, her sons, Juan Bautista Aguero, Jose Aguero and Adames Aguero, her brothers Juan Manuel Lopez, Tiofolo Lopez, Juan Lopez, and sisters Petra Gonzalez and Celia Hernandez. Surviving loved ones to cherish her memory are her daughter Odelia Alderete, her daughter Maria Gomez and husband Carlos Gomez, her daughter Rosie Martinez and husband Gilbert Martinez, her son Santos Aguero and wife Anita Aguero, and son Juan Jesus Aguero and wife Teresa Aguero, and her sisters Jovita Aguero and Maria Trevino. Arcelia is survived by 17 grandchildren, 46 great grandchildren, and 24 great-great-grandchildren. A Visitation in Arcelia’s honor will be held on Sunday August 21, 2016 from 5:00p.m. to 9:00p.m., with a 7:00p.m. prayer service at Trevino Funeral Home, 2525 Palo Alto Rd. The Funeral Service will be held on Monday, August 22, 2016 at 10:00a.m. at the Miracle Center Church, 3751 Commercial Ave. Interment will follow at the Aguero family cemetery.
