Anita Louise "Grannie" Patterson

Anita Louise (Grannie) Patterson beloved mother, grannie and friend went to be with her Lord on October 12, 2015 in San Antonio, TX at the age of 79. She was born in McColl, SC on January 4, 1936 to Lonnie R. Rasberry and Florence Williams. She worked at Northeast Baptist Hospital as a Medical Technician for 40 years and was a member of Eisenhauer Road Baptist Church. She was devoted to her family, especially her grandkids and had a large work family at Northeast Baptist.

She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Lonnie Joe, Amos and her sister, Sally. Grannie is survived by her son, Richard Patterson; daughters, Susan Davis, Sherry Petsch (Tom), Teresa Hudson; grandchildren, John Davis (Nicole), Jennifer Dohogne (TJ), Eryka Hudson, Joshua Petsch, Wyatt Petsch, Jordan Dohogne, Phoebe Kennedy, Preston Kennedy and great-granddaughters, Molly Dohogne and Lily Davis; niece, Pam Cowick; nephews, Harold and Paul Grier. She is also survived by very special extended family, Patricia Hutson, her children, Nina (Angel), April, Amanda and their children, Jacob, Logan and Maria.

The family will receive friends on Friday, October 16, 2015 from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. at Sunset Funeral Home. A Celebration of Life will be at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday October 17, 2015 at Eisenhauer Road Baptist Church, 3950 Eisenhauer Rd. 78218. Interment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Gentiva Hospice.
