Anita E. Gutierrez went to be with the Lord on February 3, 2017. Anita was a proud graduate of Lanier High School in San Antonio, TX and was a longtime member of St. Phillip of Jesus Catholic Church. She was preceded in death by her father Vicente Elizondo, mother Pauline Elizondo and sister Rose Cadena. She is survived by her daughters Virginia (Bill) Brown and Yolanda Gutierrez, grandson Adam Emanuel Peterson, granddaughter Lauren Ashley Deanna Brown, brothers Vicente Elizondo Jr., and Joe Albert Elizondo. Visitation will be held on Sunday February 12, 2017 from 4pm to 9pm at Funeraria Del Angel Roy Akers with a rosary at 7pm. Funeral Mass will be held on Monday February 13, 2017 at 10am at San Juan De Los Lagos Catholic Church. Interment will follow at San Fernando Cemetery II.
