Angeline C. Valdez went to her heavenly family on February 25, 2023 at the age of 86. She was born on July 25, 1936 in San Antonio, Texas to Guiseppe and Eulogia P. Caponite. She is preceded in death by her parents; her sisters, Josephine Flores and Magdalena Sanchez; and her nephew, Jesse P. Barrera. She is survived by her husband, Reynaldo A. Valdez Sr.; her sons, Reynaldo Jr. (Sonia) and Carmelo (Lori); her daughter, Imelda (Denise); grandchildren, Christopher, Justin, and Alexis; great granddaughter, Isabella Renee; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
A visitation for Angeline will be held at Roy Akers Funeral Home, 515 N Main Ave, San Antonio, Texas 78205, on Wednesday, March 1, 2023 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM with a rosary at 7:00 PM. A funeral procession will depart the following morning, Thursday, March 2, 2023 at 9:15 AM for a funeral mass at St. Andrew Catholic Church, 14831 Main St, Lytle, Texas 78052 at 10:00 AM. Burial will follow at San Fernando #2 Cemetery, 746 Castroville Rd., San Antonio, Texas 78237.
