Amalia R. Rodriguez, 88, went to be with our Lord on March 28, 2017. Amalia was born in St. Paul, Texas on July 10, 1928. She loved her roses and gardening was her passion. She is preceded in death by her parents, Jose and Modesta Reynero; husband, Raphael Rodriguez; siblings, Maria Encina and Basilio Reynero; sons, Ricardo Maldonado and Armando Maldonado, Jr. and one grandchild. She is survived by her sister, Soledad Reynero; daughters; Marie Martinez and her husband Sergio, Guadalupe Talmantez, her husband Hector, Hilda Myal and her husband John; 7 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. Family will receive friends at Funeraria Del Angel Trevino Funeral Home on Thursday, March 30, 2017 from 4:00pm to 8:00pm. A Rosary will be recited at 7:00pm during the visitation. On Friday, March 31, 2017, a procession will depart from Funeraria Del Angel Funeral Home at 9:30 am for a 10:00am Mass of the Resurrection at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church. The Committal service will follow at San Fernando Catholic Cemetery III.
