Alicia Hernandez Gendorf

A Devoted, wife, mother, grandmother and sister to her family. She will be lovingly remembered by her “Sweetie” of 56 years, Alfred Gendorf; daughter Debbie Gendorf, son Timothy (Jamie Bell) Gendorf, daughter Jannette (Bryon) Compton; sisters Yolanda, Erma (Bobby), Carol (Ruben) and brothers Robert and Peter (Linda); her three grandchildren, MacGuire, Jazmine, and Camden. Along with numerous, cousins, nieces and nephews. She is also survived by her two dogs, Bacon and Chiquita.

She is preceded in death by her parents; mother, Petra Casarez, father, Ruben Hernandez, stepfather, Pedro Rabago, and sister Inez Gutierrez.

Born on August 1, 1945 in San Antonio, Texas, she was the oldest of 7 siblings. Alicia enjoyed her many adventures as a military wife and lived in many places including, Hawaii, North Carolina and Utah but always called Texas her home. Alicia’s passion was decorating her home so all who came always felt welcomed.

A private family service is being held at this time, due to the Covid-19 restrictions. Burial will take place at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery.
