Alfredo “Freddy” Villegas Jr, lovingly known by his family as “Junie,” born October 22, 1970, passed away peacefully on February 7, 2021 at the age of 50. He was preceded in death by his father, Alfredo T Villegas.
He is survived by his wife Marian Guerrero, son Mitchell Ray Villegas, daughter Miranda Valerie Villegas, step daughter Maggie Guerrero (Jose Luis Guzman), grandsons, Marcos and Jose; mother, Susie Villegas; sisters, Yolanda (Juan) Salas, Irma (Angel) Medrano, Lucy DeHoyos, and numerous nieces, nephews, family and friends. Freddy was a licensed electrician for the past 30 years, a trade that began in high school. Behind that strong and tough guy image, he was a gentle and kind soul. He was always there to lend a helping hand. His biggest treasures in life were his family, and his bright orange 1970 Chevy Nova, which originally belonged to his grandfather. Over the years, Freddy restored the Nova back to its pristine condition. He will be dearly missed by all who knew him. Visitation will be at Sunset Northwest Funeral Home at 6321 Bandera Rd, on February 17, 2021, from 5:00 – 7:00pm; 8:00 – 9:00 pm. Burial will take place at a later date.
