Alfred H. Vasquez

Sgt. Alfred H. Vasquez Sr. born on June 23, 1945 passed away peacefully on October 3, 2011 at the age of 66. He was a loving and devoted husband, father, brother and uncle. He is preceded in death by his parents; Ciriaco A. Vasquez and Carolina H. Vasquez; sister, Mary Helen Vidal. Alfred is survived by his wife Adela Vasquez; son Alfred Vasquez, Jr.; daughter-in-law Kimberly; brothers Robert A. Vasquez, Dan and Betty Vasquez; sisters Alice Diaz, Ester and Alfred Garcia; numerous aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. He proudly served in the US Army and was a Vietnam Veteran. The family would like to give a special Thank you to all the Doctors and Nurses for their compassionate care during his illness. Visitation will begin 5:00 p.m. Wednesday, October 5, 2011 at Trevino Funeral Home, 2525 Palo Alto Rd. A rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m. Thursday, October 6, 2011 at the funeral home. A procession will depart the funeral home at 9:30 a.m. Friday, October 7, 2011 for a 10:00 a.m. mass at St. Leonard Catholic Church. Interment to follow in Mission South Burial Park.
