Family visitation will be Friday, October 25, 2013 from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at Johnson’s Funeral Home. Graveside service will be 1:00 p.m. October 26, 2013 at Lawnhaven Memorial Gardens with Pastor Emmett Corker of Northridge Baptist Church officiating.

She was born on September 23, 1927 in Hedley, Texas. She was the second of ten children born to Anthony and Elsie Pierce Watkins.

She is survived by her loving children: sons George Mauldin and his wife Frieda of Brady, TX, and Billy Mauldin and wife Mary of May, TX; and daughters: Virginia “Sissy” of Tyler, TX, Cindy Jarrett and her husband Robert of Midland, TX and Rosemary of Seabreeze, TX; as well as many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her siblings: Toni Shalones Blanton of Burleson, TX, Bill Watkins of Las Vegas, NV, Marilyn Price of Phoenix, AZ, Jimilea Aguilara and husband Randy of Menlo Park, CA, Jack Watkins and wife Linda of Crockett, TX, Carole Carr of Wheat Ridge, CO, Robert “Jr.” Watkins and wife Lucy of Hartsville, AL; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Her sweet laugh and loving heart will be missed by all. Her love for the Lord was so strong, as His love for her. Many of us were blessed by her loving heart. Her blessings in heaven will be infinite.
