Price Stanley Turner

Services will be 10:00 AM Friday, July 27th at the First United Methodist Church in Big Lake. Burial will follow in Stiles Cemetery. Arrangements are by Johnson’s Funeral Home.

Stanley was born November 15, 1925 near Stiles, TX to Price Masters and Anna Lee (Belcher) Turner. He was a rancher and lifetime resident of Big Lake. Stanley served in the US Army during World War II in Europe. He later graduated from Sul Ross University.

Stanley married Patricia Childress in 1945 in Big Lake, TX. She preceded him in death in January 2008. He was also preceded in death by his parents and one brother, James Turner.

Survivors include his daughter Anna Beth Martin and husband Richard of San Angelo and their children Anna Lee Romero and her sons Thomas and Seth, Robert Martin and wife Lisa and their daughter Taylor; daughter Helen Susan Thorn and husband Jack of Kerrville and their son Drew Dean Thorn; son Tim Turner and wife Marian of Dallas and their children Shane and Amber Stephenson and their daughter Emma, Scott and Kelly Stephenson and their children Kack and Colton, Kim Stephenson and Kristi Stephenson; one brother Gene Turner of Big Lake; one sister-in-law Betty Turner of Big Lake and numerous nieces, nephews, cousin and friends.

Pallbearers will be Robert Martin, Drew Thorn, Shane Stephenson, Scott Stephenson, Robert Knight and Eddie Ramirez.
