Patrick was born September 17, 1981, in San Angelo, Texas. Growing up in San Angelo, Patrick played many sports with baseball and swimming being his favorites. He graduated from San Angelo Central High School in 2000, where he participated and lettered in swimming. He then attended Angelo State University and graduated in 2006 with a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in International Business with a minor in French. In addition to the courses at Angelo State, he attended the University of Dauphine in Paris, France and the University Laval in Quebec City, Canada where he studied the French language. After his formal education, Patrick worked mainly as a certified physical trainer. Extending beyond college graduation, Patrick spent several years engaged in French language study with the aide of his tutor, Peggy Tharp. Patrick was worldly, having visited many countries where he thoroughly enjoyed experiencing different cultures and people. The guitar was Patrick’s passion, having spent much time playing with friends, but was just as happy strumming alone at home.
Patrick had a gentle spirit and a beautiful soul. He embodied what a person should be, having been a loving son, brother, and friend. His heart of gold, sweet smile, and wonderful sense of humor, will be greatly missed.
