Manuel M Munoz

Manuel dedicated over 20 years of his life as a carpenter for the San Angelo Independent School District, leaving a lasting impact through his skilled work and commitment. He married his first wife on February 14, 1961, and together they raised five beloved children. After her passing, Manuel found love again with Esmeralda (Flores) Munoz, whom he married on June 17, 2005. With Esmeralda, he embraced the role of a father once more to three young children, enriching their lives with his love and guidance.

Manuel had a passion for driving, exploring the outdoors, and engaging in conversation made him a familiar and friendly presence wherever he went. He had an extraordinary ability to connect with people, often discovering surprising familial ties with those he met. Manuel was also a devoted collector of antiques and vintage items, and he found joy in working on vehicles and pursuing various other interests.

Manuel will be remembered fondly for his unwavering dedication to his family, his generous spirit, and his knack for bringing people together. He leaves behind a legacy of love, laughter, and countless cherished memories. Manuel is survived by his wife Esmeralda, his children, Roy Munoz; Belynda Delgado and husband Aldo, Michael Munoz, Betty Munoz, Jose Flores, Detsury Flores, and William Flores; 15 grandchildren and 35 great grandchildren. He is also survived by his siblings, Martin Munoz, Armando Munoz, Jesus Munoz, Mary Anderson, Stella Farris and Anita Munoz Guerra. Manuel is preceded in death by his grandparents, Pascualita Munoz and Martin Munoz; his parents, Manuel Munoz, Sr., and Susan Peck; his first wife, Hope Munoz and his son, Jerry Munoz.

A rosary for Manuel will be held Sunday, August 18, 2024 at 5:00 PM at Johnson's Funeral Home, 435 West Beauregard Avenue, San Angelo, Texas. A funeral service will occur Monday, August 19, 2024 at 10:00 AM in Johnson's Funeral Home Chapel. Manuel will be laid to rest in Calvary Catholic Cemetery.
