He was born on May 11, 1970 in Phoenix, Arizona to Andres and Belinda Reyes. Joe attended Dysart High School where he met the love of his life, Priscilla, in 1986. The two were married on August 27, 1994 and welcomed 4 beautiful children: Deidra, Joe Jr., Michael, and Elijah.
Joe was a beacon of unwavering friendship and kindness. He left an indelible mark on the hearts of all who knew him. Joe valued hard work, honesty, and the value of a man's word. He will be remembered for having a big heart, welcoming family and friends alike to share in good food and laughter. Joe will be forever loved and deeply missed.
Joe was preceded in passing by his parents, Andres and Belinda Reyes; and brother, Andy Reyes.
Joe is survived by his wife, Priscilla Reyes; son, Joe Reyes Jr. and wife, Maggie; daughter, Deidra Valdez and husband, Alex; son, Michael Reyes, and son, Elijah Reyes; 7 grandchildren, Denise, JD, Jace, Darla, Calob, Noah, and Mathieu; brother, Art Reyes and wife, Yolanda; brother, Arnold Reyes and wife, Lucille; sister, Aurora Avina; and sister-in-law, Elo Reyes. Also left to cherish Joe's memory are his honorary siblings Becky and David Kohutek; many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
A rosary will be held at 6 PM on Tuesday, December 17, 2024 at St. Margaret of Cortona Catholic Church in Big Lake, Texas. Mass of Christian Burial will take place at a later date in Arizona.
