Jane Ornelas Zuniga

Jane Ornelas Zuniga, 69, of San Angelo, Texas went to be with her Lord and Savior on Friday, July 6, 2018. The Rosary Service will be held at 7:00 p.m. Tuesday, July 10, 2018 at Johnson's Funeral Home. The funeral mass will be at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, July 11, 2018 at St. Joseph's Catholic Church. Burial will follow at Lawnhaven Memorial Gardens. Jane was born June 25, 1949, in San Angelo, Texas to Eulalio and Lucinda Sanchez Ornelas. Jane was a wonderful wife and mother who gave selflessly of herself and cherished her family. Jane was a dedicated nurse for 39 years and always provided compassion to those in her care. She will be remembered for her loving, gracious spirit, her beautiful smile, and her wonderful sense of humor. Jane was a blessing from God to all who knew and loved her, and she will be dearly missed. She was preceded in death by her parents and siblings; Julia Garcia, Tina McDaniel, Daniel Ornelas, Thelma Aguirre, Lucy Ornelas, Robert Ornelas and Louis Ornelas. Jane is survived by her husband, Mario Zuniga of San Angelo; her daughters, Lisa Montes and husband, Guillermo Montes of San Jose, California, Amanda Ramirez and husband JR Ramirez and her son, Mario Zuniga all of San Angelo; her grandchildren, Romeo, Alyssa and Evan Ramirez and Izaiah Zuniga; her brother, Arthur Ornelas and wife Rosario of San Angelo. Jane is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and many other family members and close friends too numerous to mention. Pallbearers for the service will be Louis Ornelas, Stephen Ornelas, Oscar Ornelas, Romeo Ramirez, Izaiah Zuniga, JR Ramirez, and Guillermo Montes.
