“Mi Hermanita” Ida Rodriguez Lopez, age 59, was called home to be with the Lord on August 6, 2011 at her residence. She was born to Ruben and Alicia Lopez on April 15, 1952 in San Angelo, Texas. Visitation will be held from 6:00p.m. to 8:00p.m. Wednesday, August 10, 2011 at Johnson’s Funeral Home. Funeral service will be held at 10:00a.m. Thursday, August 11, 2011 at Johnson’s Funeral Home Chapel with Jim Benson officiating. Burial will follow at Lawnhaven Memorial Gardens. She is preceded in death by her father and mother, Ruben C. and Alicia R. Lopez, and her brother Oscar R. Lopez. Ida is survived by her brothers Ruben R. Lopez and Mary Barron, Danny R. Lopez; sister Irma R. Lopez; a very special aunt Leticia V. Lopez as well as numerous nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles. Pallbearers will be Ruben Lopez, Danny Lopez, Robert Ybarra, JR, Oscar V. Be not burdened with times of sorrow I wish you the sunshine of tomorrow. My life’s been full, I savored much. Good friends, good times, a loved one’s touch.
