David was born and raised in San Angelo, TX. As a young adult, he attended Arlington State College, and then began working at Vought Aircraft Industries. While working at Vought, he decided to complete the Ranch Management Program at Texas Christian University. After retirement, he fully realized his dream of owning and operating a small cattle business. Later, he began driving a school bus for Slidell ISD, retiring from the Teacher’s Retirement System.
Living most of his adult life in Decatur, TX, he was a member of Victory Family Church for 22 years, volunteering for Victory Family Church and Wise Choices Pregnancy Center.
He is survived by his wife, Paula Jo Seals, daughter Holly Gilbreath and husband Allan Gilbreath, son Bryan Seals and wife Lydia Seals, and nephew Sean McGowen. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren and several other nieces and nephews.
