She was born on January 19, 1955 in San Angelo, Texas to Bill Ruth and Norma Anderson. Cindy attended San Angelo Central High School and later began her career working for Company Printing and retired as the Customer Service Manager after 20 years.
Cindy married the love of her life, Gordon Miles on June 8th, 1990. Together, they raised two children, Jason and Crystal. She showed them unconditional love and could always turn a negative into a positive. Even when things were rough, she kept her positive attitude. Cindy was also known as “momma” by many of her children’s friends; she considered them her kids as well.
Her greatest accomplishment in life was being a loving wife, mother and MiMi to her family. She enjoyed spending time at the Llano River with friends and family. Cindy spent a lot of her time with her granddaughter, Bailee Rae; they were two peas in a pod. They spent a lot of time (and money) shopping and just enjoying each other’s presence.
Cindy is preceded in death by her parents, and her brother, Ricky Ruth. Those left to cherish her memory are her husband of 32 years, Gordon Miles; her son, Jason Schofield and wife Staci; her daughter, Crystal Delgado and husband Mike; her grandchildren, Bailee Rae Delgado, Michael Lane Delgado and Lucas Cain Delgado, and one great grandchild, Braxten Lane Delgado. She is also survived by her siblings, Ronnie Ruth, Linda Pope and Billy Ruth, as well as a host of other relatives and friends.
Visitation for Cindy will be held Monday, April 25, 2022 from 5-7 PM at Johnson’s Funeral Home.
