Charles Royce Beal

grandfather, brother, pastor, and friend went home to be with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on March 6, 2015. He was born on December 29, 1938, in SanAngelo to Charles Turner Beal and Daisy Isabell Lawler Beal. He was married to his wife of 55 years, Winnie Mae Beal.

Charles was the pastor of Central Faith Baptist Church in San Angelo for 28 years until 1995. After he retired he served as the pastor of Bethel Baptist Church in San Angelo for the past ten years. He loved to play golf and softball and served on the board of the Concho Valley Softball Association for many years. He served as president of the Fannin Elementary PTA and was a lifetime member of the PTA. Even after his boys stopped playing, he continued coaching basketball for Reagan Elementary and Angelo Baptist Christian (ABC) School. He was also passionate about sharing Jesus.

He is survived by his wife, Winnie Mae Beal; Sons, Sidney Beal and wife Terri of Midland, Byron Beal and wife Leslie of San Angelo, Daughter,

Charlotte Beal of Coral Springs, FL., and four grandchildren; Kel Beal and wife Debbie, Sidney Beal II, Sterling Beal, and Dustin Beal.

Charles was preceded in death by his father, Charles Turner Beal; mother, Daisy Beal; sisters, Rebecca Wright and Molly Jozwiak. Surviving siblings are Diana Lynn Collins and Randy Beal.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Bethel Baptist Missions or Building funds, or to the Missions or Building funds of the church of your choosing.
