Carlos Ray Lopez, 55, of Eola, passed away on January 12, 2021. He was born on April 18, 1965 in Plainview, Texas to Molly and Ray Lopez. Carlos attended Eola High School and graduated in the class of 1983. He later went on to obtain Hospital Corpman from the United States Navy, he then began his career in Agriculture, working for the Hollik Bros in Farming and Ranching. Carlos was a proud member of the Fire Department and had a passion for cooking, hunting and fishing. Carlos will always be remembered for his community service and his kind heart and generosity. He was preceded in death by his father Ray and both paternal and maternal grandparents. Carlos is survived by his fiancé Lupe Gutierrez, mother Molly Lopez, sister Rebecca Lopez (Gonzalo) of San Angelo, brothers Sam Lopez of Stephenville and Rene Lopez (Corina) of Laredo and nieces and nephews Chris Lopez, Jacob Lopez, John Paul Lopez, Sonia Lopez, Alex Lopez and Analicia Lopez. A celebration of his life will be held at 5:30 p.m. Friday, January 15, 2021 at Johnson’s Funeral Home.
