Calvin Beeler, age 81, of Carlsbad, Texas passed away peacefully in his sleep on Saturday, April 6, 2024. Calvin was born in Fort Worth, Texas to Tyson and Margaret Beeler. Calvin spent his early years and adulthood living in state facilities and group homes until we were blessed to have him join our family in 2005 as his foster care family.
Calvin enjoyed life in his own way. He enjoyed parties, dances, cook outs, or any event that had food. He looked forward to the guys yearly camping and fishing trips to Colorado, family reunions, or just going. At home, he enjoyed walking around and sitting in his rocker or swing. He loved opening presents on Christmas Day, but most of all he loved spending time with his foster family and friends.
Visitation will be Thursday, April 11, 2024 starting at 10 am followed by the funeral service at 12 pm. Burial will be held Monday, April 15, 2024 in Fort Worth, Texas at Greenwood Memorial Park.
