Bobby Joe Carr went to ride with his savior September 22, 2011 after a brief battle with cancer. Bobby was born September 7, 1949 in Strawn, TX to Dick and Charline Carr. Bobby resided in San Angelo, TX where he met and fell in love with his soul mate Sandra and married on January 20, 2008. Bobby was a loyal and devoted employee of Can-Doo Budget Rental for 9 years as area manager. He was a hard worker and took great pride in everything he did which was seen by all. Bobby loved his family and the love and devotion of his sister who was his best friend. Bobby had a passion for life which included friends, Harley Davidson, Cowboys, and Texas Rangers. Bobby was an independent biker. He accepted and was accepted by all and was a member of San Angelo Biker Church where he won us all over with his sharp and quick wit, laced with his Texas boy charm, his free spirit, smile and attitude. Thank you for the pleasure Bobby. Bobby is preceded in death by his parents Dick and Charline Carr. He is survived by his wife Sandra Rock Carr of San Angelo, stepdaughter Ashley Fraser of Wyoming, stepson Alan Fraser of Colorado, sister Nita Joy Holmes and husband Elmer Holmes of Stephenville, brother Edwin Dean Carr of Huntsville, brother Tommy Wayne Carr of Stephenville, nephews Joe Dale Kyle and wife Melinda and Neil Kyle and wife Wanda and niece Miranda Holmes.

Catered visitation will be held from 6:00p.m. to 8:00p.m. Sunday, September 25, 2011 at Johnson’s Funeral Home. Funeral service will be held at 3:00p.m. Monday, September 26, 2011 at Johnson’s Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow at Lawnhaven Memorial Gardens.
