Visitation will be held from 6:00-8:00 Pm Friday, February 17th at Johnson’s Funeral Home. Services will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday, February 18th at Hillcrest Baptist Church with Rev. Jim Wilkerson officiating. Burial will follow at 4:00 PM in Sunset Memorial Gardens in Odessa, TX. Arrangements are by Johnson’s Funeral Home.

Bobbie was born December 14, 1934 in Dallas, TX to Daniel and Ora (Burk) Fannin. She was a resident of San Angelo since 1974 and retired in 1991, after 18 years as an Administrative Clerk with GTE. She was a member of Hillcrest Baptist Church.

Bobbie was married to Comer L. (Jack) King on August 30, 1954 in Lovington, NM. He preceded her in death in 1992. She was also preceded in death by her parents and a brother Dan Fannin.

Survivors include one brother Bill Fannin and wife Marilyn of San Angelo and one sister Doris Britton and husband Walter of San Angelo; two nephews Scott Britton and Darrell Fannin; five nieces Mindy Fannin, Elaine Tate, Jacque Fannin, Karen Maples and Katie McGough and numerous great nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be nephews and great nephews.

The family wishes to express a special thanks to Dr. Liem Nguyen, the 2nd floor nurses and staff at Angelo Community Medical Center, Jenny Pike and Pattie Wooten.

Memorial may be made to Hospice of San Angelo, West Texas Rehabilitation, American Cancer Society or a favorite charity.
