Sandra "Sandy" L. Thomas

Sandra “Sandy” L. Thomas, 81, of Salisbury a true lover of Elvis passed away on his birthday Sunday, January 8, 2023. Born January 30, 1941 she was the daughter of the late James Edward Thomas and Nellie Mae Gordy Elliott and stepfather who was like her father Howard B. Elliott.

Since early childhood, Sandy was a member of Allen Memorial Baptist Church. She was a country music fan, attended many concerts and adored Elvis. Sandy was also a resident of Pine Bluff Village for over twenty years and had many friends there.

She is survived by two sisters, Susan Heath and Judith Taylor; a brother, Keith Elliott and his wife Sandy, and an Aunt Louise Wagner; and several cousins, nieces, and nephews. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her brother, Howard “HB” Elliott.

A funeral service will be held Monday, January 16, 2023 at 11am at Bounds Funeral Home where friends may visit one hour prior to the service. Rev. Dr. William L. Warren will officiate. Interment will follow in Wicomico Memorial Park.
