Robert “Bob” William Driscoll, Sr. 77, of Salisbury passed away Tuesday, February 20, 2024 at Tidal Health, MD in Salisbury. He was born April 29, 1946 in Salisbury, MD and was the son of the late Earl and Lillie Driscoll.
Bob served in the United States Army from August 1, 1964 to July 31, 1970. After his discharge from the service, he began working at Salisbury Rug Company. He then worked at Salisbury NAPA for a number of years leaving them to start his own business, Bob’s Auto Repair. He retired & closed his shop in 2022 to begin helping on his wife’s farm, raising poultry. His greatest achievement was restoring a 1946 Chevy Street Rod installing 4-wheel drive in 1994. Bob loved Allis Chalmers Tractors, NASCAR and Boston Terriers. He was a member of Snethen Church in Mardela Springs, MD.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Susan B. Driscoll; daughter Rachel Jones (Alan); brothers, Elwood (Emma Jean) and Ronald (Diane), and sister, Sarah Horner. He was preceded in death by his son, Bobby Driscoll, Jr. and sister, JoAnn Martin. He also survived by numerous cousins, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
A Celebration of Life is planned for Saturday, March 2, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. at Snethen Church, 25970 Delmar Rd, Mardela Spring MD 21837. Dress code is casual.
